Description

At the top of the obverse is the State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan (featuring two tulpars - mythical winged horses, a shanyrak - the upper part of a yurt, rays of sunlight, and a star; below is the name of the state). Next to the emblem is the abbreviation of the National Bank of Kazakhstan written in lowercase letters.
Below the emblem is the denomination - “10 тенге” (10 tenge). Around the edge is the name of the bank.
On the reverse, inside a thin ring, there is an ancient Turkic ornament at the center. Around it is the inscription “ҚАЗАҚСТАН • РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ” with dots separating the words, and the date “1993” at the bottom.
