Description

The item is made from threads of pure sheep wool, processed by hand. The yarns used for weaving the alasha were pre-dyed in various colors. These colored threads were skillfully incorporated into the ornamentation of the alasha, demonstrating a high level of textile craftsmanship. The ornament, depicting a ram’s horn motif, measures 22×22 cm and consists of 4 horizontal rows and 9 vertical rows. Along the edge of the alasha, at a distance of 3 cm, there is a braid made of black thread. Both ends of the item are decorated with 8 cm long horsehair.
