Description

Kimeshek is a traditional national headwear of Kazakh women. The front part and the cape are made from two layers of fabric, while the back part is made from a single layer. The top is decorated with pleats, over which a separately crafted element called töbeldirik is attached. Along the edges of the facial opening, ornamental patterns are applied using fine metal wire and multicolored threads. The garment is stitched with a red machine seam.
Back length-125 cm, front part-75×60 cm, facial opening-4×25 cm.
