Musical instrument - Dap (Frame Drum).

Description

A traditional musical instrument of the Uyghur people, made in the shape of a frame drum. It consists of a round wooden frame with animal skin stretched tightly over the outer surface and tucked under the rim. On the inner side of the frame, closer to the bottom, thin metal rings are attached, from which small round iron jingles are suspended.
