Description

Made of wood. The length of the cradle is 92 cm, and the diameter of the curved crossbars is 3.5 cm. Both headboards are carved 6 cm from the center and reinforced with a thin metal strip 6 cm wide. The distance between the horizontal crossbars is 40 cm. The main part of the besik (cradle) is the body, in which a special opening is made in the pelvic area of the infant. Below it is placed a shümek (drainage tube) and tübek (a special vessel or pot).
