Description

Baldak-a traditional wooden stand used by eagle hunters to carry their bird while riding horseback. The top section is split into two prongs, 12 cm apart. Between these prongs, a double-layered leather strap, 3 cm wide, is placed; its ends are folded outward and secured with brass nails.
The overall height of the baldak is 50 cm. Near the bottom, a horizontal hole holds a triple-braided leather strap tied at the ends, used to attach the stand to the saddle. Another horizontal hole, located 24 cm above, holds a 90 cm long leather strap.
